As Elton revealed the incident stating, "He was lying in bed, too weak to stand, losing his sight, going: ‘Have you heard Mrs Bowie’s new album, darling? What does she think she’s doing?’" Elton continued with a smile, “I always had the best time with him.” Well, there’s no doubt the man is on the fun boat all the time, but Freddie was an extremely emotional person too. As Elton revealed that after his death one of their friends came to his house and handed him a pillowcase, as Elton revealed, “I opened it up, and inside was a painting by one of my favourite artists, the British painter Henry Scott Tuke.” With the present, there was a note that reads, “Dear Sharon, I thought you’d like this.
