Game of Thrones is amongst those iconic television shows that have created a global phenomenon across the globe and deservedly so. Based on George R.R. Martin's iconic literary works, GOT made household names out of actors like Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke. We are now in the endgame as the last Game of Thrones episode, ever, is being aired on May 20, 2019. We will come to know if Daenerys Targaryen is able to keep the Iron Throne or will someone rain on her parade.

In several interviews, over the past few weeks, George has shown his displeasure on season 8 of GOT, especially on how it ends. Talking to Rolling Stone, when Martin was asked about storylines and character arcs being changed from the books, the writer stated, "Of course you have an emotional reaction. I mean, would I prefer they do it exactly the way I did it? Sure." On the other hand, George told Fast Company, "It can also be traumatic. Because sometimes their creative vision and your creative vision don’t match, and you get the famous creative differences thing that leads to a lot of conflicts."

You changed the loved dragon Queen into a crazy killer in one episode. She was a fan favorite. Life sucks enough. Why can’t we have a happy ending? We deserve that after all the horrible things that happened.

You should have finished the books then. Season 7 and 8 clearly suffered because of lack of books!
