Game of Thrones Season 7 recap: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen team up against the Army of the Dead

With the final season of Game of Thrones just a day away, we bring you a recap of the previous season to refresh your memory. The seventh season saw Ice and fire, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen finally teaming up against the army of the White Walkers.

The beginning of the seventh season sees Arya Stark donning the face of Walder Frey and slaying the entire House Frey while Bran Stark along with Meera Reed finally reach the Wall. At Winterfell, Jon Snow and Sansa Stark have a difference in opinion on Jon pardoning House Umber and Karstark for them having fought for Ramsay at the Battle of the Bastards and Samwell Tarly discovers that there are is a pile of dragon glass stored in Dragonstone. Cersei decides to form an alliance with Euron Greyjoy against Daenerys who finally returns to her homeland in Dragonstone.

Dany sends the Greyjoys and the Dornishmen headed by Yara Greyjoy and Ellaria Sand to Sunspear wherein their fleet is attacked by Euron Greyjoy and Yara is captured by him. Arya meets Hot Pie who tells her that Jon Snow is the King in the North after which she heads North. Jaime Lannister attacks Highgarden and poisons Ollena who admits that she killed Jeoffery before dying. Jon Snow finally meets Daenerys and tries to make her aware of the White Walkers. Cersei reveals to Jaime that she is pregnant with his child and in the North, all the Stark children Sansa, Arya and Bran have a reunion.

Jon Snow finally confronts the army of the dead along with Gendry and the Brotherhood without Banners wherein they are saved by Daenerys and Benjen Stark after being outnumbered by the White Walkers. Bran Stark soon sees in his vision that Rhaegar and Lyanna were married and Jon is their son with his real name being Aegon Targareyn. Jon and Dany make love without knowing that they are related while the Night King converts Dany’s slayed dragon Viserion into an ice dragon who goes on to demolish the Wall.
