Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, has taken up the mantle of being the mother of dragons, for 8 glorious seasons. Or as GOT fans would say 7 glorious seasons. In season 8 episode 5, the Last War took place which saw Queen Dany against Cersei Lannister. While Cersei won the first round and killed Rhaegal as well as Missandei, Daenerys showed her true Targaryen colours and wrecked fire on the whole of King's Landing, leaving no one.

There was a lot of criticism on the writing by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, especially with the character development of Daenerys Targaryen. Given how she was the breaker of chains and did not want to be the Queen of ashes, Dany showed her tyrannical side, instead. Emilia took to Instagram to show her reaction to not only shooting episode 5 but watching it as well. Taking into account, the literal meaning of having your 'wig' snatched, Emilia shared a crazy photo on Instagram. Just before putting her wig on, Emilia took the picture with a huge bottle of champagne opened.

Check out Emilia's photo below:

Emilia's caption reads as, "This is what it took not only to shoot ep5...but to watch it too! # @gameofthrones @hbo #soshockingitblewmywigoff # #."

Meanwhile, episode 6 marks the last ever episode in GOT history. We will have to wait and watch to see if Dany will retain the Iron Throne, or will the Starks and Tyrion prove to be her enemies now.

I totally can understand the idea of Dany feeling alone, and thoughts of her family turning her a bit crazy. However I still find it very hard to believe she would kill children and innocents rather then just go after the soldiers and Cersei?

idk how you can honestly be upset about Daenerys turning into the mad queen she was always meant to turn into, many of us guessed about Jon's true origins, she's hinted at being a dictator many times before, that's the wrong thing to fixate on. What people SHOULD be upset about is the fact that literally episode 4, the scorpions are laser heat seaking missiles, episode 5 they got off like 3 shots and were aimed by half blind idiots, also in episode 4 how did Dany not see the ships even though she was way the hell up in the sky, I get that they needed one of her dragons to die in preparation for becoming the mad queen because honestly how would Jon be able to defeat her in episode 6 with 2 dragons at her side but FFS, have some sort of plot consistency or have it make sense. Did it look beautiful, absolutely. Did it make sense, hell no. Also that fight scene with Euron and Jaime felt so forced for the sake of plot convenience, what the hell was he even doing there?

So disappointing. Everything so out of character. What were they thinking. Feeling betrayed. Such great characters, built up over 7 glorious seasons. Cersei, dying beneath a pile of rubble, crying her eyes out. How could they belittle such a magnificent character, deserved so much better.
Appalling script writing.
