The award season is here and we can't be more excited as 2019 has been a treat for movie lovers all around the world. It's one of those years where there isn't a definitive best film or actor or actress because of how diverse and eccentric the movie palette has been for the cinema-goers! There's still some more time for the Oscars 2020 nominations to be out but tonight, i.e. December 9, 2019, the Golden Globes nominations list will be out to keep us satiated enough.

This time, the Golden Globes will be hosted by the returning controversial host, Ricky Gervais. The prestigious award ceremony will air on January 5, 2020, and will see Tom Hanks receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his contribution to movies while Ellen DeGeneres takes home the Carol Burnett Award for her contribution to television. Let's not forget the world of Television, which has yet again redefined the boundaries of content. From Game of Thrones' controversial final season to strong contenders like Barry and Fleabag, it's going to be difficult to pick one favourite!
