Michelle Trachtenberg recently shared her horror story of working with Joss Whedon and recalled details of the director’s inappropriate behaviour while around her on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The 35-year-old actress was only 14 when she joined the show in season four as Buffy’s younger sister Dawn Summers.

Michelle initially shared co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s statement about Joss and said, “Thank you @sarahmgellar for saying this. I am brave enough now as a 35-year-old woman….To repost this. Because. This must. Be known. As a teenager. With his not appropriate behaviour….very. Not. Appropriate.”  Fans later noticed that Michelle edited the caption of her post to include more details about what happened on the set. Michelle added to the statement and said, “So now. People know. What Joss. Did. The last. Comment I will make on this. Was. There was a rule. Saying. He’s not allowed in a room alone with Michelle again.”

For the unversed, Charisma Carpenter was the first to come forward with allegations of on-set abuse and misconduct by Joss Whedon, who created the hit WB series along with the spinoff series Angel. As soon as the actress came forward with her experience, many alums of the 1997 horror show stood up with her. Her former co-star Ray Fisher took to Twitter and called on fans to protect the former Buffy and Angel star at all costs. “I am forever grateful for her courage and for her lending her voice to the Justice League investigation,” Ray wrote. “Read her truth. Share her truth. Protect her at all costs. ‘It is time.’ A>E #IStandWithCharisma.” The Justice League actor wrote.
