The Crown alum Emma Corrin who famously essayed the role of Princess Diana on the show has had a big week, to say the least. After landing a Golden Globes and SAG nominations, Corrin has reportedly been cast opposite singer and actor Harry Styles in an upcoming movie. Today Deadline reported that The Crown alum and Styles are set to star in Amazon's upcoming My Policeman, a romantic drama based on the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts.

The report comes in the wake of the revelation months ago, when Corrin revealed that she and Styles know each other and that he once watched her dog Spencer while she was at a dinner. "He once dogsat for me," she revealed during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November. "The thing I love about this is also my dog has no idea, which I think is the wonderful thing about it. For a dog, it's just a person." "I was having dinner sort of near where he lives, and he looked after Spencer for me, but not again. He hasn't done it again," she added. "And I think it's because halfway through the meal I got a message that just said, 'He won't stop farting. Is this normal?'"

While Harry Styles has been in talks to star in My Policeman since September, Emma’s name has recently been in the film, while Deadline suggested that Style’s may have played a part in suggesting Corrin’s name, but it is all just conjecture at this point.
