Henry Cavill’s Women’s Day post confirms he was ‘Superman’ long before entering DC universe with Man of Steel
Henry Cavill has made a name for himself in the world of DC by playing Superman in Zack Synder’s Man of Steel. The actor quickly became the audiences' favourite with his appearance as the renowned superhero in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and from thereon, the star bagged all the love from his fans. The actor took to his Instagram handle to wish his mother on Women’s day. Paying tribute to his mother in a sentimental post, he shared how he has learned everything from her.
The post shows Cavill as a kid sitting in his mother’s lap. Despite the actor’s kind message, all attention went straight to what he was wearing. Henry was seen donning a superman costume in what seems to be an outdoor gathering. His mother matched the little one wearing all blue as she held Henry who can be seen smiling at the camera. The star penned, “Today is International Women’s Day and I’m dedicating this post to the most magnificent woman I know. My mum. An extraordinary, powerful, tough, intelligent, resilient, kind, thoughtful and caring person. That little boy on her lap learned an awful lot about what it is to be a good man from her,”.
