Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel's feud has been the talk of the town ever since Fast & Furious 8 happened. Things escalated when Hobbs & Shaw was announced. Diesel and gang weren't happy about the family branching out. This led to a lot of callouts on the social media profile. This did not stop the spinoff from happening. The Rock reprised his Luke Hobbs role in the spinoff and impressed the critics. However, the David Leitch directorial couldn't replicate the jaw-dropping opening collections that recent Fast & Furious movies have done.

As per international reports, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw collected $60.8 million at the US box office while bowing down to a collection of $180 million on the global front. After the box office collections made the headlines, Tyrese took to Instagram to throw some shade at The Rock. He mocked the wrestler-turned-actor in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The Shade Room shared a screenshot of the deleted post. The post read, "I have to show my respects for one thing … He tried," he said. “Folks called me a hater … And attacked me for speaking out … Breaking up the family clearly doesn’t have the value that one would assume it does … You know what maybe just maybe … The Rock and the crew will come dance with us again for #Fast10. We can all hug it out and get back to giving the true fans who have supported this franchise for 20 years WHAT they want … No hating I’m just pointing out the facts," he added.

“In this day and age where everyone wants to be safe and sit on their hands and not speak on real s–t … When you do get attacked and well … That’s that. Again my respects cause he tried his best … The world is clearly used to being severed [sic] its Thanksgiving meal a certain way … they want the table to ‘include’ all its flavors and all of its usual ingredients," he added. Well, Hobbs & Shaw dethroned The Lion King for the top spot over the weekend. It stood above Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Toy Story 4.
