Christopher Dennis, who is affectionately known as Hollywood Superman passed away earlier this month at the age of 52. Dennis has portrayed the character of Superman for almost 30 years in his life. Also, he is known for having an incredible resemblance with late actor Christopher Reeve who has portrayed Superman on the big screen several times. It was reported by TMZ that Dennis’ body was found lying on top of a bin that is used for donating clothes.

The beloved actor was homeless and was suffering from poverty in recent years. But, no one came forward to help him in one of the toughest times of his life. Although, a campaign was started to help the forgotten superman of Hollywood by some of these fans and friends. But, that too didn’t go for too long as he finally surrenders in front of destiny’s call of death. Now, after he’s gone one of Dennis’ beloved friends and director Vlad Kozlov has revealed that he wanted to be buried in Superman’s costume.

Well, the poor family couldn’t be able to fund a funeral that goes with the wish of Dennis. And, even after a crowdfunding campaign, it was hard to touch the minimum budget for this funeral. But, recently an anonymous benefactor has donated a huge amount of money to Dennis’ family.

Now, they’ll be able to give the kind of see-off Dennis wanted. The funeral is going to be held on December 7 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at noon. May God bless all the donors for this incredible gesture and we hope Christopher Dennis can finally rest in peace.
