Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle entered and exited the royal family, the couple have not given interviews to publications or sat down for television interviews since their engagement. That's all set to change as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be appearing for an interview on 7 March. The interview is a 90-minute primetime special which will feature Oprah Winfrey in talks with with Harry and Meghan for an 'intimate conversation'.

Now, the latest addition to this is that Queen Elizabeth will be making a television appearance on the same day. However, due to the time difference, the Queen's address will take place just hours before Meghan and Harry's interview which is expected to be keenly watched by followers of the royal family.

The day, March 7, is the annual Commonwealth Day service and usually sees thousands throng the Westminster Abbey where the Queen makes an address. However, due to the pandemic, the event has been cancelled. Instead, the Queen will make her Commonwealth Day speech on television.

According to a report in People, instead of the celebrations, the BBC will do a live broadcast featuring members of the royal family and has been in the works since January. Reportedly, the time of the telecast was decided around three weeks ago.

As for Meghan and Harry's interview with Oprah, the same will air in the UK on the morning of 8 March due to the time difference. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their second child and won't be returning as working royals.
