Ice Age Boiling Point Release Date: Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Simon Pegg to Return with New Adventure on February 5, 2027

Ice Age: Boiling Point is all set to continue the Ice Age franchise with its 6th instalment, which seems to be a fiery one.

Ice Age has been a fan-favorite franchise in the animation world for years. Following the events of Collision Course, the series is set to continue its legacy with its sixth installment, Ice Age: Boiling Point, which is scheduled to release on February 5, 2027.

With Ice Age: Boiling Point, the prehistoric pack returns for another chaotic adventure. The main trio, Manny, Sid, and Diego, are back once again, with Buckminster Wild, better known as Buck, also joining the journey. Ellie is set to be part of the adventure as well.

The teaser also features Crash, Eddie, Scrat, and Baby Scrat, adding even more fun to the mix. Directed by John Donkin and packed with hilarious mishaps and the trademark humor that fans love, Ice Age: Boiling Point is shaping up to be a must-watch family entertainer.

As the franchise returns with its sixth installment, Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Simon Pegg, and Queen Latifah reprise their roles as the voices of Manny, Diego, Sid, Buck, and Ellie, respectively. However, the makers have yet to officially confirm the voice cast for Crash, Eddie, Scrat, and Baby Scrat.

The film was initially slated for a theatrical release on December 18, 2026. However, after Avengers: Doomsday was delayed to the same date, the animated feature was pushed to 2027 to avoid a box-office clash with both Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three.

Previously, the Ice Age franchise released Ice Age: Collision Course in 2016. The film follows Scrat, who is launched into outer space in an abandoned spaceship while attempting to bury his acorn. In the process, he accidentally sends a giant asteroid hurtling toward Earth, prompting the Herd and Buck to embark on a mission to stop it.

Directed by Michael Thurmeier, the film performed well internationally at the box office. With the sixth installment now just months away from release, fans will be eager to see what the franchise has in store next.
