Idris Elba's fine acting skills and good looks has us hooked any time of the day. While we love Elba on the screen and in his candid snaps on Instagram, we may soon not get to see much of the actor amping up the heat on Instagram. The former titleholder of People's Sexiest Man Alive revealed in a recent show that he is taking steps to cut down his presence on social media. Speaking to Fast Company, the Hobbs & Shaw star revealed that he does not want to receive his via Twitter anymore. 

Elba said, "I’ve been trying to wean myself off. I used to post a lot more, but it’s been putting me off lately,” he told the outlet. “And Twitter’s just not how I want to receive my news." The 47-year-old actor added, "I read the news aggregated on my iPad, but I can’t check it constantly—I’m not proud of it, but it’s true—because it makes me feel depressed." And in a day when he has 15 minutes to himself Idris revealed he 'sits in the dark' and clears his mind. 

Idris, who also makes music and is a DJ, has had a busy year. He will be seen next month in the film musical Cats which has garnered attention from all over and also stars Taylor Swift, James Corden and Judi Dench. When it comes to his personal life, the actor married his longtime girlfriend Sabrina Dhowre in Morocco. The Golden Globe winner popped the big question publicly at a a film screening in London last February and sealed the deal in April this year.
