Back in 2009, we were welcomed into the blue-tastic world of Pandora with Avatar, which smashed it at the box-office and became the most successful film ever made. The lifetime box-office collection stood tall and proud for 10 years at a staggering $2.7897 billion. However, when Avengers: Endgame started killing it at the global box-office in the first weekend itself, one wondered if the Russo Brothers' directorial has what it takes to dethrone Avatar as the no. 1 film.

James Cameron, director of Avatar, took to Twitter to wish Marvel Studios on dethroning his film. Sharing a photo of Iron Man in a Pandora state of mind, James wrote, "Oel Ngati Kameie, I see you Marvel - Congratulations to Avengers: Endgame on becoming the new box-office king. Jim Cameron." The Russo Brothers aka Anthony Russo and Joe Russo were overwhelmed by James' thoughtful gesture and shared photos of several Cameron movies like Avatar and Titanic (1997). They wrote, "To @JimCameron- you're a monumental reason why we fell in love with film in the first place. Thank you for always inspiring us and opening the world’s eyes to what’s possible.  We can’t wait to see where you take us next..."
