It has been 25 years since we met our on-screen Friends. The popular sitcom introduced us to Rachel Greene, Monica Geller, Pheobe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Ross Geller. With the six friends, we travelled through ten seasons, laughed and cried with them. This month marks the 25th premiere anniversary of the show and the world is celebrating the making of the show in their own ways. From pop-up shops to looking back at favourite episodes, you name it and the world is doing it.

Joining the bandwagon of celebrations, James Michael Tyler decided to look back in time and share some interesting details from the days he filmed as Gunther on the show. The blonde coffee-shop manager was madly in love with Rachel. In the final episode, Gunther finally gathers the courage to profess his love for Rachel. While the moment wrapped in a few minutes in the episode, James revealed it took him and Jen "forever" to film that scene.

Speaking to Insider, the actor recalled, "When Gunther professed his love to Rachel, that scene, it took forever to shoot because, both Jennifer and I, we could not look each other in the eyes and do that scene without bursting into tears." He explained how the two would break down as soon as they had eye contact. "I looked at her and I started crying and then makeup's over there trying to touch us up and like, 'OK. Let's do it again.' So it was very, very emotional," he said.

I laughed for about 10 minutes at the scene of Chandler reporting back to Ross and Joey about his experience with Joey's recommended tailor. Tremendous writing, with a strong helping of brilliant comedic timing.

I loved So many episodes. One that sticks out, is the one where Rachel and Ross realize their love, and kiss in the doorway of the coffee place, in the rain. So romantic.
