Jennifer Aniston's dating timeline: Here's a look at the Friends star's boyfriends and ex husbands

Jennifer Aniston is a bonafide Hollywood star and despite newer actors and actresses emerging out of the West year after year, the 'Friends' star continues to hold her ground. The actress celebrated her 50th birthday in February and clearly has no plans of slowing down on the professional work front. Not just that, Jennifer aka Rachel Green also made headlines in February when her ex-husband Brad Pitt showed up at her birthday bash. The news sent the netizens and fans collectively into a tizzy and since there have non-stop reports of the ex-lover's rekindling their romance. 

Well, before the 'Fight Club' came into Aniston’s life, there were other men, though none came close as Pitt did. Without wasting any time, let's take a look at Jennifer Aniston’s dating history: 

Adam Duritz (1995): One of Jennifer Aniston's first relationship to be under the limelight was with the lead singer for rock band Counting Crows Adam Duritz. The dreadlocked singer and Jen were spotted quite a few times as the actress had just begun drawing media attention due to her stint in Friends as Rachel Green. However, reports suggest that the relationship ended even before it took flight. 

Tate Donovan (1995 – 1998): Jennifer Aniston dated her Friends co-star Joshua aka Tate Donova for three years. The actor was seen on the hit sitcom as Rachel's love interest and in real life the two stars even got engaged. However, the engagement did not last too long and the couple broke up in 1998. Before Aniston , Donovan had also broken off his engagement with Birdbox actress Sandra Bullock.

Paul Rudd (1998): Reports claim that as soon as things with Donovan went South, Paul Rudd aka Ant Man came into Jen's love life. Though it was a brief affair, it turned out to be nothing more than a fling.  

Brad Pitt (1998 – 2005): Who would have guessed that Jennifer Aniston would find the love of her life in the same year when her engagement broke up? Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston met through common friends and fell in love. They tried hard to keep things undercover but it was almost next to impossible due to the constant preying eyes of the paparazzi. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the September 1999 Emmys. 

The much-in love couple said 'I Do' to each other in July 2000. Post their wedding, the power couple were Hollywood's 'IT' couple and Brad even made an appearance on Friends. However, their married life went South when Brad and Angelina Jolie began shooting for Mr and Mrs Smith and in the first few months of 2005, Brad and Jen announced their split. Their seven year relationship came to a crashing end with Team Aniston and Team Jolie on either sides.

Vince Vaughn (2005-2006): Jennifer was rumoured to be dating her co-star and actor Vince Vaughn. The duo starred in a film titled 'The Break-Up' and rumours started doing the rounds after they met on the sets of the film. The actors went their separate ways soon after. 

John Mayer (2008): The country singer and the Friends star met at an Oscars party in 2008 and hit it off instantly. However, their age gap proved to be the biggest issue in their relationship. John, who was eight years older to Jen, had said in a Playboy interview, "In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32." The couple, however, are firm friends now with John even attending Jen's 50th birthday bash. 

Justin Theroux (2011-2018):  The duo met on the sets of the 2011 film Wanderlust and Justin Theroux was the next big thing to happen to Jennifer Aniston. After a 15-month whirlwind romance, they were engaged in 2012 and married in August 2015. Sadly, they went separate ways in February 2018.
