Entertainer, singer, actress and much more, Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about self-image issues. In a recent chat with Jay Shetty for #CoachConversations, the actress has opened up about going to therapy throughout her 30s, and while at the time she believed she had plenty of self-love, she now understands her personal relationships were not ideal. "I remember when I was going through therapy at the beginning, you know, kind of in my late 30s and there was a lot of talk about loving yourself and I was like, 'I love myself."

But then the 51-year-old star added but at the same time, she was doing all these things in like her personal relationships that didn't seem like she was loving herself. JLO later added that she didn’t even understand the concept of it back then. “It took time and it's a journey and it's still a journey for me," she added.

While Jennifer kept mum about the relationship she was talking about, but she could have been referencing her marriage to singer Marc Anthony, with whom she has two children Emme and Max. Now, the pop icon is engaged to baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

In case you missed it, back in December 2020, Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about her relationship with fiance Alex Rodriguez on Andy Cohen‘s SiriusXM show and got real about her much-anticipated wedding to the former baseball star, admitting that there was a thought that they would follow in the footsteps of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who opted not to get married despite being together for over 37 years. “We’ve talked about that for sure,” Jennifer shared. “I mean at our age, we’ve both been married before, it’s like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us?”
