With only a month left for the much-anticipated release of Justice League, Warner Bros dropped the jaw-dropping trailer of ‘Snyder Cut’ aka Zack Synder’s forthcoming movie, which is finally at the doorsteps of die-hard fans. The film was confirmed last year after a long online campaign by the director’s fans, who disapproved of the theatrical version released in 2017. As expected, Justice League’s trailer offers a lot to fans to chew on as it is expected to be four-hour long.

Set after the events of the iconic movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where Batman and Wonder Woman form a team of superheroes including Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg as the group tries to protect the world from Steppenwolf. Opening up with a  voiceover from Lex Luthor, the trailer starts off with, ‘The god is dead’ and as anticipated, gives us a new look at Jared Leto’s Joker. The 2-minute video shows the cast in their amazing characters, promising another gem from the DC saga. Justice League first debuted in 2017 when Snyder was the original director but stepped away from the project during post-production for personal reasons.

Justice League also features a lot of supporting characters who unfortunately did not make the theatrical cut. Moreover, backstories of superheroes like Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg, were not present in Joss Whedon’s version of Justice League which agitated the fans who expected more from the film. Luckily for them, the trailer promises they will all be present in their entirety in the recent Snyder Cut.
