The royal family came together for the christening ceremony of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son Archie Harrison on 6 July and it was indeed an intimate and private affair. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not allow the press to gather outside the chapel in Windsor to click candid pictures of the couple. Meghan and Harry also did not reveal the name of baby Archie's godparents as they did not wish to be named. However, the royal couple did share two pictures from the event.

While one was an adorable picture of the couple snuggling baby Archie, the other one was for the books. A family portrait which included Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan's mother Doria Ragland and the late Princess Diana's sisters. While rumours of rift between the royal four refuse to die down, new reports suggested that there may still be some tension between the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

According to Mail Online, Kate Middleton appeared "ready to flee" in the official picture from Archie Harrison's private christening, the report stated quoting an expert. The image in question is the official family picture. According to body language expert Judi James, she said that Kate looked "ready to flee" and also described Prince William as looking like he was in "nightclub bouncer mode".

This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie. Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue. The report added that Kate did look a little awkward and feuds between the couple may be a result of it. Just last month, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially split from their joint charity with Prince William and Kate Middleton amid claims of a growing rift.
