Actress Keira Knightley recently spoke about her no-nudity clause and revealed that it is a result of having two kids, while the actress expressed that she is no longer interested in doing lovemaking scenes directed by men, the case may be different if a woman was behind the camera. The Pirates of the Caribbean star opened up in the Chanel Connects podcast and said expressed that she now "feels very uncomfortable trying to portray the male gaze."


Adding that there are times where she knows a lovemaking scene is needed in the script, but more often than not the makers just need “somebody to look hot,” which she believes can be done by anyone else, she’s “too vain” to see her body, which has birthed two children, stand naked in front of men. 


For the unversed, The British actress, 35, added a no-nudity clause to her contract after having children, she now expressed that she has the liberty to be more vocal now than she could have been in her 20s when she did movies like Pride And Prejudice and Atonement.


Talking more about her decision, the actress said: "If I was making a story that was about that journey of motherhood and body acceptance, I feel like, I'm sorry, but that would have to be with a female film-maker," Knightley said. "I don't have an absolute ban, but I kind of do with men."


If you didn’t know, the actor is mother to two children. Keira Knightley's children are both girls - she welcomed her first daughter Edie in 2015 and her second daughter, rumoured to be called Delilah in 2019. The actor kept her second pregnancy private, confirming it by displaying her baby bump at a Chanel event in Paris in May 2019.
