Taylor Swift had tongues wagging and the music industry in a disarray, when she posted a scathing blog about Scooter Braun. The You Need To Calm Down singer found out the hard way that Scooter had acquired Big Machine Records and now owned her entire music catalogue. Never in her "wildest dreams" did Taylor imagine that one day, her hard work would be owned by a "bully", as she referred to Scooter in her blog. Swift accused Justin Bieber's manager of getting two of his clients to online bully her, which included Justin himself.

Taking Taylor's side in the battle is former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. The What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger singer took to her Twitter page and suggested to Swift that she should re-record all her songs. Kelly tweeted, "@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don’t own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions. I’d buy all of the new versions just to prove a point."
