Kim Kardashian is known for a lot of things and one of them are her out of the box and unconventional choices. The reality star married Kanye West in 2014 and later moved into their sprawling home in Los Angeles. The couple who make a truck load of money sure have a way of spending it on bizarre things and the latest news reveals that the specially designed floors in the couple’s unique USD 60 million home need some particularly extravagant maintenance.

Kim and Kanye spent almost five years in building their house to perfection. Now, according to a report in Forbes, the floors in Kim and Kanye's house can only be maintained by a crew flown in from Europe. The report states, "The floors are made of a special Belgian plaster; if scuffed, the delicate material can be repaired only by a crew flown in from Europe." The magazine journalist was also asked to cover his sneakers with cloth booties, so as not to damage or scuff the floor with them.

Earlier, Kim Kardashian had shared pictures of the unusual bathroom sinks in their house. These sinks looked not only unique but also missed out an essential feature -- the actual basins. The inside of the house, too, is extremely minimal with most of the walls done in plain white. Kim had told Vogue, "The house was all him. I’ve never seen anyone that pays such attention to detail."
