Kit Harington and Sophie Turner recreate an iconic Game of Thrones moment at Emmys 2019 & GoT fans are weeping
Before you dive into the story, you should probably get a box of tissues for there are chances of tears rolling down your face. With the warning out in the open, let us begin by telling you that Emmys 2019 concluded a few hours ago. The cast of Game of Thrones made its way onto the purple carpet and into the Microsoft Theatre in LA to attend the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. While our heart skipped a beat when we saw Kit Harington make his first red carpet appearance since his exit from rehab. Sophie Turner too got heads turning when she made her way into the ceremony donning a pearl white gown.
However, it was when the two met inside the theatre, our hearts fluttered with joy. Kit, who played Jon Snow on the show, met Sophie, who played Sansa Stark in the HBO series, and the on-screen siblings broke into a hug. The hug lasted longer than a casual greeting hug, proving that the two stars missed each other dearly. The heartwarming moment reminded us of the Game of Thrones finale season when Jon and Sansa meet in Winterfell.
The video was recorded by the Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg. Check out the video below:
The video caused an emotional frenzy online. Check out a few reactions:

Kit and Sophie had several things to catch up on. The actor checked in and out of a wellness facility soon after Game of Thrones ended. Whereas Sophie was married, twice if we may add, to Joe Jonas. Kit wasn't seen at the Italian wedding. The duo joined other cast members namely Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, Gwendoline Christie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Alfie Allen, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage and Carice van Houten. What a sight it was! We'll miss watching them come together as the Game of Thrones cast. Would you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
