It was a wonderful night for the team of Game of Thrones as the Emmys 2019 nominations were dominated by them. Making history, GOT earned a record-breaking 32 nominations! Along with Outstanding Drama Series and three Oustanding Directing for a Drama Series nods, Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke received nominations for their roles as Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen in Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, for the very last time.

Kit Harington had a rough couple of weeks as he checked himself into a wellness facility in Connecticut for almost a month owing to "personal issues". The actor was getting treatment for stress and alcohol use. Kit is not out of rehab and is spending quality time with his wife and actress Rose Leslie, as they celebrated their one-year anniversary recently. Hence, the Emmy nomination is a wonderful blessing for Harington. "Many thanks to the Academy. It’s been an amazing journey with ol’ Jon Snow. I’m thrilled he’s been nominated," Kit shared with US Weekly.

Meanwhile, the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Oustanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category is packed with GOT cast members. This includes Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Gwendoline Christie as Brienne of Tarth, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark and Maisie Williams as Arya Stark.
