The Eternals is slated to release on November 6, 2020.

At the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel fans were in for a ride when the cast of The Eternals was announced. Making their entry into the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) with The Eternals are Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh and Don Lee. At the D23 Expo, three more cast members were announced, which included Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan and Game of Thrones star Kit Harington. Kit will be playing Dane Whitman, who is popularly known as Black Knight.

In a recent business summit, NEXT Conference, Harington was asked about his future projects, with Game of Thrones Season 8 being the last time we ever see the actor play the now iconic role of Jon Snow. To this, the 32-year-old actor spoke candidly about playing a superhero in his next project, The Eternals. "Now I'm going with a Marvel movie. I'm going on to play a superhero, which is cool. I don't know what I can say about it, I'm scared to sort of even mention it," Kit quipped. Furthermore, Harington spoke about how he is trying to take up roles that are far away from Jon Snow.

However, in the comics, Whitman is known to be a skilled swordsman, which, as GOT fans are well aware of, also happens to be The King in the North's forte! "I'm trying to choose things as far away from Jon Snow as possible, but I'm playing a superhero and he's got a sword," the actor shared.
