*SPOILERS ALERT* Game of Thrones Season 8 finally revealed the answer to the biggest mystery of all - who wins the Iron Throne? While ultimately, it was Bran Stark who was declared the King of the Six Kingdoms, fans theorised that the hot favourites to win the game of thrones were Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. Since GoT Season 1, fans have been shipping Snow and Dany as a pair and it was only in season 7 when the two powerhouse characters finally met each other for the first time.

It was a sequence to remember for both Khaleesi and the King in the North fans, and even Kit Harington agrees with its prominence and impact on the show. During an appearance at ACE Comic Con in Chicago, Kit revealed that his favourite scene to shoot with Emilia Clarke was the introductory sequence between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. Talking about the now iconic moment, Kit recalled, "I thought it was a beautiful scene, it was a beautifully written scene, weighted scene, they're testing the water with each other, instantly you can see that there's some attraction, but they've got their own agenda. I loved that scene, I loved doing that scene with her."

However, it was not just the collision of the two characters, but also the fact that Harington and Clarke were close friends in real life. "For us, for me and Emelia, it was really exciting because we had been friends for six years and seen each other's work, but never got to meet," the 32-year-old actor confessed.

Ultimately, Khaleesi would end up getting killed by the very hands of her love and nephew, Snow, who can't handle the Mad Queen's monstrous actions. But, at least we can ship Kit and Emilia's friendship!
