Emilia Clarke has laid Daenerys Targaryen's silver locks to rest and moved on to feature in a new movie. The actress stars in the Christmas themed movie titled Last Christmas. The movie releases this weekend. Emilia stars opposite Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding and Academy Award winner Emma Thompson. Although it is obvious that the romantic tale takes place in London and the trailer teases Last Christmas features various elements, the Paul Feig directorial features a massive twist towards the end of the movie.

It is this twist that has left Emilia frustrated with her fans. In a conversation with IndieWire, the Game of Thrones star revealed she was "bloody" annoyed with fans trying to guess the big twist of the movie. She is frustrated with the internet's obsession to guess the twist soon after the Last Christmas trailer was dropped.

"It’s bloody annoying. Frustrating. It’s more complicated than people are guessing," she said, speaking about the twist in Last Christmas. Defending the twist, she said, “Emma [Thompson] and Greg [Wise] wrote this script together, but they sent the script to all of their friends and it was only ready when their friends didn’t see the twist coming and couldn’t guess until it happens, so that’s where it comes from. It’s just frustrating."

While Emilia is frustrated, she feels the spoiler culture can be controlled. “That’s something within their own control, unlike the rather turbulent political environment that we seem to be living in. Our world’s literally on fire, so I think that there’s a lot of things outside of people’s control, so when it comes to this kind of stuff, they can do something with it and want to. It’s done with so much fervor, it’s done with a huge amount of energy and all that is, is misdirected energy," she said.
