Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth recently announced their breakup, after being married for just seven months. The couple first met on the sets of The Last Song (2010) and it was an instant connection for the two lovebirds. However, Miley and Liam had their fair share of on-again, off-again dating statuses. Eventually, in 2015, the pair got back together and in December 2018, they got married during an intimate ceremony. But, just a few days back the split reports emerged!

Talking to Entertainment Tonight about Cyrus and Hemsworth's breakup is Adam Shankman, producer of The Last Song. "I'm sad, I just want them both to be happy. I mean, I produced the movie where they met. I feel a part of their relationship. I am sort of responsible for introducing them. So, I'm bummed about it because I love them so much," Adam shared. Furthermore, Shankman stated that the ex-couple are extremely good people and they are not capricious, in nature, to take a hasty decision like a divorce. The producer just wants them to be happy.
