The Lion King is just days away from release and the world premiere of the film turned out to be a dazzling affair. Adding sparkle and amping up the event several notches higher was Queen Bey aka Beyonce with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Their star-studded entrance on the red carpet made fans, celebs, co-stars and stylists (basically everyone) sit up and take note. So, it came as no surprise when actor Seth Rogen revealed that Beyonce received a standing ovation at the world premiere of The Lion King.

Appearing on Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Seth spoke about what how and why the singer got a standing ovation. Talking about it, Seth said that it all started when director Jon Fraveau was introducing the cast of the film. He was inviting each celeb to walk over to the stage and as soon as he announced Beyonce's name, the audience started "losing their mind", Seth revealed.

"Beyoncé was called out and the audience stood up and went crazy. I was like, 'She's getting a standing ovation for just existing.' Like, her mere presence was a reason to stand and go crazy, and I totally got it. I was like, 'Yeah, we should be celebrating. We made it. We're all in a room with Beyoncé. That's what you want,'" Seth told Jimmy Kimmel.

Seth also went on to reveal that just like others, he was also smitten by Queen Bey. "I was wary of going near her because I look like someone who you would want to keep away from Beyoncé in general," the actor joked.
