One Direction became the biggest boyband of the world in a matter of months, thanks to their stint on The X Factor UK. However, the five young lads - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik - were all thrust into stardom at an extremely young age. Hence, after five years of making music and going on world tours, the band decided to go on an indefinite hiatus, so that they could enjoy some alone time and also work on their solo careers.

The hiatus was initially going to last only for 18 months, but four years later, there has been no talk about a 1D reunion. The bandmates constantly have to tackle questions regarding a possible reunion in the future, with Louis being the latest member to be asked the age-old question - Are you willing for a One Direction reunion? "I wasn’t really ready for the band to go on a break. As far as I am concerned, I am happy doing what I am doing. But the day that (a reunion) does happen, and everyone is ready to do it, I am ready," Tomlinson shared with Metro.

Furthermore, the 27-year-old singer, who recently revealed that his highly-awaited debut solo album, Walls, will be releasing on January 31, 2019, revealed what he thought of his 1D bandmates' recent solo material.

The We Made It singer shared that he was really impressed with their music. While he believes Liam is making great radio records, he's in love with Niall's recent single, Nice To Meet Ya, and is a fan of the chorus of Harry's new track, Lights Up, calling it brilliant.
