Rapper Meek Mill is facing backlash on social media for a recent song! The 33-year-old rapper recently got into trouble after a new track by the crooner surfaced online featuring Lil Baby, which seemingly featured references to the late basketball champion Kobe Bryant‘s fatal helicopter crash. In a line from Mill’s song, the lyrics “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe,” he is heard rapping on the song, which has been listed on Genius under the title “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe).”

Since the clip of the song leaked online, social media has harshly spoken out against the rapper for the line. Lil Baby also raps about wanting to “have a son, so I can name him Kobe/Daughter Gigi,” seemingly referring to Kobe’s daughter who also died in the crash.

This isn’t the first time the rapper has been surrounded by controversy. Last year, in July, Kanye tweeted, “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform’ I got 200 more to go This my lady tweet of the night … Meek is my man and was respectful That’s my dog Kim was out of line,” Kanye tweeted, among saying other things. After which, Meek Mill seemingly responded, writing, “Shit is cappp cmon …..” If you don’t know, “cap” means lies.
