Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in May 2018, there have been several speculations which suggest that the royal couple are relocating base. Reports flooded the internet to suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are moving to the US. Almost a year later, the couple is still living in the UK. However, a new report suggests Meghan and Harry are moving to Africa. And this time, there are chances it could actually happen.

Amidst reports about Meghan Markle's pregnancy and due date, The Sunday Times reported the Duke and Duchess will be leaving England. The move could happen soon. And Buckingham Palace isn't denying these reports either.

Over the weekend, the international outlet revealed, "Courtiers have drawn up plans to hand the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a major international job that could see them moving abroad after the birth of their child."

The report further added, "Discussions are at an early stage, but the plan is to find a new way of using their soft power abilities, most likely in Africa".

When is the move expected to take place? "A decision on where they would be based is unlikely to be taken until 2020 when they have settled down with their new baby which is due within days," added the report.

Daily Express' royal reporter Richard Palmer took to Twitter and shared that Buckingham Palace is not denying these reports. "Buckingham Palace is not denying a report that officials have discussed sending Harry and Meghan to Africa as a way of capitalising on their appeal to young people in the Commonwealth -  and of putting further distance between them and the Cambridges," he tweeted.

For those unaware, Africa is a special place for Harry and Meghan. The couple spent Meghan's birthday in 2017 before announcing that they were engaged in November 2017.
