Beyonce was nothing less than an enchanting goddess when she walked the red carpet with her darling daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, at the world premiere of The Lion King. The mother-daughter duo was decked in diamonds as they matched in blazer dresses and stole the red carpet moment of the night. Queen B also has a mini-reunion with her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Michelle looked gorgeous as she adorned an Atelier Zuhra mosaic silver dress which she paired with metallic silver strappy stilettos and centre-parted poker straight hair.

Variety spoke to Michelle, while on the red carpet and the singer was all praises for Beyonce. When quizzed about Beyonce's performance as Nala in The Lion King, Williams shared, "I thought it was absolutely brilliant. No one else could do it. When I think about her eye color, her skin, her hair, she's perfect for it!" However, an awkward moment ensued when Michelle was asked if she heard Beyonce's new music for The Lion King. Williams kept mum and hilariously struck a few model poses. Eventually, she burst out laughing and completely ignored answering the question.

After the premiere, a new track titled Spirit, sung by Beyonce for The Lion King is out. Queen B is also the executive producer of The Lion King: The Gift album which is a "musical ode to the classic story." Beyonce revealed that she wanted each song was written to "reflect the film’s storytelling."
