Mulan Trailer: Disney's live action movie ignites goosebumps as it talks about loyalty, bravery and honour

Disney released the Mulan trailer this week. The new trailer teases Mulan's story filled with adventure, bravery and honour.

Weeks after sharing the trailer teaser, Disney released the trailer of Mulan and it promises all things empowering. After The Jungle Book, The Lion King and Aladdin, the Mouse House turns towards Mulan. The live-action remake of the 1998 animated movie, Mulan stars Liu Yifei in the titular role. The teaser trailer had teased the story of a warrior joining the Imperial Army as a boy after her ailing father couldn't join the army. The new trailer gives a better picture of the live-action movie. 

The new trailer revisits Mulan's backstory - her ailing father, her family and her family's pride - however the new trailer focused on Mulan's battles. Fans get a better look at the Mulan's villain, a mysterious witch named Xian Lang, portrayed by Gong Li. Apart from setting the base of the story, the trailer also teases a visual treat, igniting a sense of pride and walks fans through Mulan's loyalty, bravery and honour.

The official description reads: When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honoured warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father. 

Mulan also features Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li and Jet Li. Mulan is set to release on March 27, 2020.
