Game of Thrones reached its end, a few weeks back but the fans are still feeling the withdrawal symptoms. However, the good news is that there are currently five prequels to the legendary show, in the works, with George R.R. Martin's trusted guidance. Better yet, one of the prequels has already completed shooting its first season. Starring Naomi Watts in the titular role, the prequel, which is tentatively titled Bloodmoon or The Long Night, takes place 5000 years before the events of GOT and delves into the confrontation with the White Walkers.

But, did you know that when approached for a role in the Game of Thrones prequel, Naomi had not watched a single episode of the series? Talking to Porter about the same, Watts revealed, "I didn’t start watching until I was approached about this job. But my brother [photographer Ben Watts], who is heavily into it, told me, 'Under no circumstances are you going to turn this down.'" However, to the actress' credit, she binge-watched all seven seasons after she took up the role.
