NCIS: Cote de Pablo REVEALS if she wants to reunite with Michael Weatherly for one last Tony & Ziva scene
Cote de Pablo got candid about her much-awaited return to NCIS, as season 17 premiered today and had its main focus on Ziva David's reappearance in Gibbs' life. The actress was also asked if she would like to reunite with Michael Weatherly for one last Tony DiNozzo & Ziva David sequence. Read below to know more about what Cote had to say on the same.
NCIS Season 16 finale saw the return of one of the most beloved characters of all time, Ziva David, played by Cote de Pablo. Ziva's last appearance in NCIS was in 2013 and before Michael Weatherly quit the show, it was revealed that Ziva may have died. But loyal NCIS fans, like Tony DiNozzo, refused to believe that David could die and now we know that the former NCIS agent is very much alive. However, she was also in an undercover mission which kept her apart from Tony and their daughter Tali, all these years.
NCIS Season 17 premiered today, i.e. September 25, 2019, and gave us more answers as to why Ziva returned from a dangerous undercover mission and encountered Gibbs. Cote will be starring in four episodes in season 17 and we wonder if the actress would like to have one last Tony and Ziva sequence in NCIS. Tiva is definitely the ultimate OTP of NCIS, whom fans have been rooting for since Pablo joined the show in season 3! When Entertainment Tonight asked Cote about a possible sequence between Michael and herself in NCIS, the 39-year-old actress shared, "When Michael and I talk, and we talk very often, we laugh and we say, "Oh my god, do you think these characters will ever see each other again?" And the answer is always, yes, we're just wondering where and when."
"We're waiting for the proper platform and a nice storyline, and I'm crossing my fingers it happens. We're both open to it and we'll see what happens. It's a matter of schedules and many factors; many things have to be factored in for that equation to actually become real," Pablo added.
