After premiering at the Cannes Film Festival last month, Quentin Tarantino is back with his ninth film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with an envious cast. Set in the 1960s, the film stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio and revolves around the Manson family murders. Leo will be seen as the struggling actor Rick Dalton while Brad plays his stunt double, Cliff Booth. Margot Robbie is also a part of the movie as Sharon Tate, one of the infamous Manson family murder victim.

The film's trailer has already created a lot of buzz and gauging social media reaction fans are looking forward to the film. However, Tarantino's films are not always guaranteed to be box office blockbusters. Despite being a critical acclaimed director and the man behind cult classics like Pulp Fiction, Tarantino's films have never made USD 50 million on its opening weekend at the box office in North America.

Turns out, Pulp Fiction which starred Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta and Uma Thurman, made just USD 9.3 million on its opening weekend. However, the global box office numbers were a definite success and the movie is considered to be legendary to this day. Other critically acclaimed films like Kill Bill  Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 also raked in USD 25 million and less in the opening weekend.

However, with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood this may change as the envious cast has already gotten fans looking forward to some fine storytelling, Tarantino style. Several reports also claim that the film is tracking opening weekend numbers between USD 40 million and USD 60 million.

Quentin's movie is slated to release July 26, 2019, in the US and on August 9, 2019, in India.
