One Direction fans had several reasons to cheer as their week began on a great note with former band member Harry Styles winning a Grammy. The singer won the Best Pop Solo for his song Watermelon Sugar at the Grammys 2021. That wasn't all, Harry even performed a jazzy rendition of the song in a black leather suit and feather boa. From Harry's plaid red carpet style to his win, the evening was an eventful one for the singer's millions of fans. And from the many to congratulate him was his former band member Liam Payne.

Taking to Instagram, Liam shared a One Direction and Harry Styles meme as he wished the singer on his win. Below the meme, Liam wrote, "Congrats @hshq on your Grammy win. What a huge moment, proud to be your brother." The win was a massive one for Harry. Since One Direction's split in 2015, Harry and Liam have remained close friends.

While all the band members, Zyan Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam, have pursued music, Harry is the first member to win a Grammy.

While Harry won his first Grammy, Zayn Malik was clapping back at the Recording Academy with his tweets. The singer-songwriter tweeted about how the entire process needs to get transparent and pushed for more inclusion.

Zayn said, "F**k the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary." In another tweet, he said, ".@recordingacad are moving in inches and we need to move in miles.  I’m keeping the pressure on & fighting for transparency & inclusion.  We need to make sure we are honoring and celebrating “creative excellence” of ALL.  End the secret committees. Until then ... #f***thegrammys."
