Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are just a few weeks away from welcoming their first child and the media glare surrounding the birth of Baby Sussex is unmatched. While, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle's choices during pregnancy and first year as a royal have been constantly criticized, TV Mogul and public figure Oprah Winfrey recently voiced her support for the former 'Suits' actress. Speaking on a TV show titled CBS This Morning, Oprah said that the way Meghan Markle has been negatively portrayed is uncalled for.

Since the royal wedding took place in May 2018, a number of tabloid reports had reported that the Meghan Markle could not get along with Kate Middleton. Her rude behaviour with the royal staff was also played out in the media. Meghan has been the targets of scores of reports which mentioned her diva-like behaviour around those who work for Kensington Palace.

Reacting to these reports, Oprah said, "I think she’s being portrayed unfairly, and I feel that if people really knew her they would know that she is not only everything we perceive of her, in being graceful and dynamic in holding that position, but she just has a wonderful, warm, giving, loving heart."

Defending the mother-to-be, Oprah said, "I think it’s very unfair. She’s very kind. I think that’s remarkable that despite everything that’s going on she does not read anything." Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry will soon be joining hands for a show series on mental health.
