Hello Upper East Siders! Rise and shine as Gossip Girl is back again, with a bang! However, instead of Blair Waldorf and Serena Van Der Woodsen, it will be completely new characters. Gossip Girl Reboot is currently in the works and as per the makers of the upcoming series, the show will take place eight years after the original ended. But that begs the question, will any of the OG members join the new cast, as a series regular or just a cameo?

While Leighton Meester and Blake Lively's appearance seems highly unlikely, there is one actress who could be a part of the show. Any guesses as to who? Kelly Rutherford, who played Lily Van Der Woodsen, Serena's mother. When People asked Kelly about the reboot, she revealed, "They are doing it with a whole new cast which is exciting and maybe we'll come on and be a part of it." Furthermore, when asked about where she thinks her character is currently, Rutherford quipped that she must be off with Rufus Humphrey, touring somewhere.
