Emilia Clarke has surely had a crazy 2019 professionally! First up, the actress was busy playing Daenerys Targaryen for the very last time, as Game of Thrones aired its final season in April 2019. It was the end of an era for the original cast, including Emilia, who has been attached to the iconic series since it's inception, about 11 years ago. The past few weeks also saw the actress promote her first project since GoT ended, Last Christmas, which was directed by Paul Feig and also starred Henry Golding.

Given that we will soon be approaching awards season, Clarke helped celebrate the Golden Globes 2020 as she attended the HFPA & THR Celebration, which took place recently in West Hollywood, California. For the event, the 33-year-old actress was decked like a ray of sunshine in a gorgeous Roland Mouret dress. Emilia stole the show in a one-shouldered midnight blue peplum top which she paired with a two-toned pleated midi skirt. The actress styled her look with silver pointy-toed heels, neutral makeup, pink lips and a messy hairdo. Clarke was also seen mingling with the likes of Florence Pugh, who will be seen in Little Women and Black Widow as well as Mickey and the Bear star Camila Morrone, who is currently dating Leonardo DiCaprio.

Meanwhile, in an earlier interview with Daily Telegraph, Emilia got candid about the backlash that Game of Thrones Season 8 received from the fans. "The only thing I felt truthfully sad about was that [executive producers] David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] are my really good friends, and so it’s for them that I feel heartbreak, because it’s theirs," Clarke confessed.
