You can take Emilia Clarke out of Game of Thrones but you cannot take out Game of Thrones out of her. And her recent outing might have just proved it. Emilia kissed Daenerys Targaryen's character goodbye but she is not letting her inner Khaleesi die. The Game of Thrones star recently made her way to the British Fashion Awards 2019 and she turned heads with her ensemble. The Last Christmas actress opted to sport a bright yellow gown for the fashion awards.

Emilia picked the ensemble from Schiaparelli's Fall 2019 Couture collection. The gown featured a cut-out slit under around the bust of the dress and a rhinestone-covered skirt. But the highlight was the voluminous sleeves. The floor-length sleeves featured yellow feathers, complementing the outfit, at the hems. Adding a hint of the Queen-like element, Clarke donned a coordinating overcoat to not only enhance the look but also keep her warm through the chilly London night.

Emilia's wintery outing comes after the 33-year-old star opened up about her brain haemorrhage. Emilia reflected up her health condition and felt that the brain haemorrhage was a "good thing." In an interview with The Observer, she explained she wasn't destined to be the "young actor goes off the rails" type of a person. Given that the haemorrhage coincided with the beginning of Game of Thrones, it became "something quite meaty, it gave me a perspective that I wouldn't have otherwise."

"I'm quite a resilient human being, so a parent dying and brain haemorrhages coinciding with success and people following you in the street and getting stalkers - you're just like, 'Well, let's try and make something sensible of it,'" she added.
