Gentle reminder: Kate Middleton and Prince William are in Pakistan on a royal tour. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are participating in royal engagements and subtly reminding royal fans of Princess Diana. If you didn't already know, the Princess of Wales had visited Pakistan thrice in the 1990s. While William was spotted bonding with teenage girls over his late mother, Kate is giving subtle nods to the outfits Diana wore during her previous visits to the country. However, on the third day of their five-day tour, Kate was spotted sporting the same traditional outfit that Diana had once sported.

William and Kate stepped out to make their way to the foothills of the Himalayan mountains on Day 3. Kate walked out of the chopper wearing an autumn brown midi skirt with a matching dark brown top and a waistcoat. She was welcomed by officials at the Chitral district of Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province with a traditional Chitrali hat, a warm shawl and a colourful embroidered jacket. The Duchess evoked the memories of Diana as she gracefully accepted the traditional attire. William was presented with a white embossed coat. Check out the pictures below:

What a beautiful way to keep Diana's memories intact.

The royal couple ventured out to see the impact of climate change and global warming on the local communities in the North of Pakistan. Hello! reports the duo then visited a nearby village in the valley to witness the aftermath of a severe flash flood which led to melting glaciers.
