Prince Charles’ wife Camilla shares update on Prince Phillip’s health; Says ‘We keep our fingers crossed’
We finally have an update on Prince Philip’s medical condition from a senior royal. Scroll down to see what his daughter in law Camilla said about the condition of the 99-year-old royal.

After the shocking news of Prince Phillip’s hospitalisation last month, we finally have an update on his condition straight from a senior royal! His daughter in law and Prince Charles’ wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall recently gave fans an update on the condition of Prince Philip, who has been in the hospital for 15 days after being hospitalized for an infection.
The Duchess said the 99-year-old royal is “slightly improving” but he “hurts at moments,” ITV news said via TMZ. “We keep our fingers crossed,” she added. This week, the Prince was actually transferred from one hospital to another for further testing, and the statement that was released by the Palace indicated he was under observation for a heart condition as well.
The last we heard was that Queen Elizabeth’s husband was transferred from one hospital to another to continue treatment, the Palace has confirmed in a statement. “The Duke of Edinburgh was today transferred from King Edward VII’s Hospital to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital where doctors will continue to treat him for an infection, as well as undertake testing and observation for a pre-existing heart condition,” the statement read via People magazine. “The Duke remains comfortable and is responding to treatment but is expected to remain in hospital until at least the end of the week.”
Come tomorrow, the 99-year-old royal will have officially been hospitalized for two weeks. The Palace released a statement about his infection a week ago. A royal insider spoke to ET Canada and revealed that despite the condition, the royal “remains in good spirits.”
