Prince George and Princess Charlotte may have not met Princess Diana but that doesn't mean the royal children don't know about her. It has been 22 years since Princess Diana passed away. The Princess of Wales was involved in a car crash and couldn't survive the accident. Prince William and Prince Harry were teenagers when Diana passed away. Although it has been two decades since the tragic incident, Diana's sons have not forgotten her. They try to include an element of Diana on every milestone occasion. And they are making sure they're kids carry on Diana's legacy as well.

It has been revealed that the Princess of Wales' grandchildren - George and Charlotte - know all about her thanks to William and Kate Middleton. According to a Us Weekly report, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have educated their children about Diana. An insider told the international magazine that William and Kate constantly remind Charlotte and George that they're grandmother is "watching over them from heaven."

That's not all. The source also revealed that Kate and Will turn towards Diana every time they hit a roadblock with their children. William often finds himself thinking about how his mother would have dealt with a situation. It is also said that Will and Kate are trying their best to raise George, Charlotte and Louis in the same way as Diana raised William and Harry. "They’re determined to give their kids a normal life, just like Diana did," the source said.

This weekend would mark Diana's 22nd death anniversary. The Princess of Wales passed away on August 31, 1997. She met with the accident in Paris. Over the two decades, William, Harry and other royal family members remember Diana in their own ways. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
