It has been three long years since Rihanna treated her fans to new music and as per RiRi's latest Instagram post, it looks like fans will have to wait even longer. The 'Diamonds' singer took to Instagram to share a video clip from a show which had American TV personality Karlie Redd reading out results of a lie detector test. The hilarious video shows an upset Karlie saying “Guys, it was all a lie." However, the lie in question which the singer is referring to her new music. 

According to a report in People, Rihanna had promised her loyal fans and followers that they would be hearing new music from her this year and that’s yet to happen, so she’s trolling them by implying that they are now calling her a liar. Sharing the video, Rihanna captioned it: “Nobody: ___  Me: Album coming in 2019 Navy in July: ___” 

Fans reacted strongly to RiRi's post with one fan saying, 'i can‘t believe i stan a liar......" Whereas another fan wrote, "when this album drop i will be a grandmother already." However, the star singer cracked up fellow musicians and actors with the tweet. Kevin Hart replied with multiple laughing emojis and 'Happy' singer Pharell wrote, "They ain't read."

Rihanna's last album was, titled Anti, was released in 2016. Apart from music, Rihanna runs her super successful makeup like named Fenty and recently also introduced her Savage x Fenty lingerie line. In an earlier interview, Rihanna had admitted that her business kept her busy and that she’s lost the ability to pour all of her focus and energy into creating new music with the same speed as before.
