After stealing the show at New York Fashion Week with her Savage x Fenty runway show, Rihanna caused a stir at the 5th Annual Diamond Ball. The Umbrella songstress stole the show as she adorned a black and white Givenchy gown which featured a high turtleneck and a figure-hugging bodice that opened up into a mermaid style gown. A few days back, Riri had shared a video of her boots on Instagram, referring to them as her very own batmobile. "Bat-mobile, but make it fashion! get into this matte leather-rubber fusion tho. @fenty," Rihanna had captioned her IG post.

Immediately, fans began speculating that Rihanna could be a part of Matt Reeves' Batman alongside Robert Pattinson. While one fan commented, "CONFIRMED: Rihanna has been cast as poison ivy," another added, "Okay Catwoman. we see you." But what did Rihanna have to say about the same? At the 5th Annual Diamond Ball, Entertainment Tonight quizzed the 31-year-old singer about the Batman casting rumours to which she quipped back, "Wait did I hint anything? Oh, that?! Really? That!? Are you serious? No that has nothing to do with Poison Ivy."

Furthermore, the Ocean's 8 (2018) star added, "That [post] has to do a lot with Batman [because] I have separate obsessions. I have a bigger obsession with Poison Ivy, I'm just being honest. And yeah, I died my hair red because of Uma Thurman in the original."

Rihanna was also quick to point out that even though she hasn't gotten a call for Batman, she would love to go and try out for the role of Poison Ivy as she is one of the main obsessions in her life. Riri also confessed that she did dress up as Poison Ivy once for Halloween.
