Ryan Reynolds fooled his kids into thinking Spider Man is Deadpool and wins the best dad award
Ryan Reynolds would be the world's Deadpool but for his children, Spider-Man Tobey Maguire is Deadpool. The actor joked about the swapped identity on Twitter.
If there was an award for the best father in Hollywood, we would definitely hand it to Ryan Reynolds. The Deadpool actor has never shied away from giving some unconventional yet amazing parenting advice. The 42-year-old star, who is preparing to welcome his third child with wife Blake Lively, has several tweets featuring his techniques of dealing with his children to his credit. This week, he added another tweet to that list. And he took some help from Spider-Man for the golden tweet.
It all began when a Twitter user reached out to the actor seeking help. The user asked Ryan to help the former in introducing the R-Rated Deadpool to his young one. While foul-mouthed merc is undoubtedly a fan favourite, there is one itsy-bitsy problem: Deadpool and Deadpool 2 features a foul language and NSFW scenes. The internet user obviously did not want his young one to learn all that.
"RYAN I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION I NEED AN ANSWER TO RIGHT TF NOW!!! My son is 4, he loves Marvel, I'm dying to show him Deadpool but I can't decide if I should or not. Helpasistahout !!!!!!!!" she tweeted. Like a superhero, Reynolds came to her rescue and offered the best solution. He suggested the user introduces Spider-Man as the Deadpool.
"Put on Spider-Man (from 2002) and tell him it's Deadpool. It's what I do with my kids. Remember to look him straight in the eye when you lie. Good luck," he tweeted. So basically, Spider-Man Tobey Maguire is Deadpool for his children. Fab!
