Come 2020, Natasha Romanoff fans will start counting down months for the release of the highly anticipated and much-deserved standalone film, Black Widow, with Scarlett Johansson reprising the beloved Marvel superhero. Along with Scarlett, Black Widow also stars David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle and Rachel Weisz in pivotal roles while Cate Shortland takes reign of the director's cap! Recently, Johansson appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about Black Widow while also shedding light on Natasha's untimely demise in Avengers: Endgame.

While talking to Jimmy Fallon, the 34-year-old actress revealed that she has wrapped shooting for Black Widow, a few weeks ago, in London. Talking about her excitement regarding the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film, the Jojo Rabbit star shared that she couldn't wait to share Black Widow with everybody when it comes out in 2020, even though she is partial towards the movie. Calling the upcoming MCU flick "fantastic," Scarlett confessed, "Honestly, it brought a closure to me that I needed, 'cause I was kind of wiped out after that last one (Avengers: Endgame) emotionally and literally... There are very few certain things but definitely, death is pretty certain."

"But, people definitely don't believe it and have tried to convince me that my character did not actually die. That may be, my character existed in an alternate universe. But no, death is a pretty final thing," Johansson added in reference to Natasha's untimely death in Endgame.

That's better press for the movie. Marvel should hire me!"
