If you thought Selena Gomez would drop a new song with several Justin Bieber references and there wouldn't be drama involved, you, my friend, need to read this article. Selena dropped her first solo of the year titled Lose You To Love Me. The heartbreaking song feels like Selena has poured her heart out and prepare the close Justin's chapter once and for all. However, soon after Justin's wife Hailey Baldwin posted a screengrab of a song titled "I'll Kill You" on Instagram. The post left fans accusing Hailey of throwing shade at Selena.

Today, Selena dropped a surprise song titled "Look at her now!" and soon hosted an Instagram live to talk about her two songs. It was during the chat with her fans Selena addressed the supposed dig by Hailey. She urged her fans to be kind to one and other. She also added she would never stand a woman pull down another woman.

"I am so grateful for the response of the song. However, I will never stand for women tearing other women down. So please be kind to everyone. Please be kind, I don't like seeing people being disrespectful or rude to other people, so please don't do that," she said. Earlier today, Hailey clarified her stand on the alleged shade. Replying to Just Jared's story, Hailey said, "Please stop with this nonsense… there is no ‘response. This is complete BS."

Meanwhile, Selena also said that the new song was "inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album." Lines like  "In two months, you replaced us like it was easy. Made me think I deserved it in the thick of healing, yeah", "We'd always go into it blindly/ I needed to lose you to find me. This cancer was killing me softly/I needed to hate you to love me," and "And now the chapter is closed and done/And now it's goodbye, it's goodbye for us" has caught fans' attention.
